The Wicked Wind!

So, I didn't run today because the wind was tooo WICKED today! It was sooo cold and sooo strong! I didn't want to blow away. I could just see myself trying to run and then a new gust just take me away! lol. I also decided that if I did run I might chance getting sick. So for the sake of staying healthy I decided to stay inside and do some cardio work. I will work on arms and abs later tonight! Till next time, STAY WARM WINTER RUNNERS!

Oh the cold...

So it's funny i mentioned snow in my blog last night because guess what?! It snowed this morning! lol. I still got my butt out there and braved the elements! I ran 4 1 mile repeats and it felt great! Im sore now but I'm sooo glad I ran today. I had a few people call me crazy and shake their heads but I just told them I was in training! Yeah for the runners out there who love to run no matter what the weather is like! Im gonna do some lifting tonight and work on my core. Till then Im stretching!

Kinda Funny!

Ha! Funny story, the day after I started this blog I got sick. It wasn't until today that I actually felt good enough to run. But guess what?! I ran nearly 5 miles! Way to bust a hustle first day! Lol. It was really cold but I was fine. My lungs were happy that I had a scarf to breath through. I didn't cramp up once. It was probably because of my amazing shoes! Well tomorrow Im gonna shoot for a full 5 miles! I am ambitious now, hopefully that doesn't change tomorrow if it snows:( I am so happy that I have someone doing this with me! Makes it that much more important to me. I don't want to fail myself or fail my partner either. I look forward to doing some speed workouts in this coming week. Wish me luck! Until tomorrow...Happy Running!

The Beginning!

So, my very first marathon! So excited. I was training pretty hard core earlier this year. But my motivation was a vacation, so after the vacation was over I pretty much stopped training. Not this time! I want to be fit for life! Starting with this journey!
I was fit in school. I started running Cross Country in the 7th grade and continued through to my freshman year in college. But recently my fire burned out. Maybe it was my living situation, maybe not. Either way, I needed to change! I have no reason to be lazy and unmotivated! I have an accountability partner! We are in this together!
I can do anything I put my mind to! Why not a marathon! After it is all said and done! We are getting tattoo's on our feet to symbolize this entire journey! Fitness is the best reason to stay in touch with friends. People bond through exercise! This blog will show the blood, sweat and tears that go into training for a marathon! I hope this will be inspiration to many!
Till tomorrow! <3
